In October 2010 the Go*Do brand was launched by Icam in the UK through the Chocolate Unwrapped Show at Vinopolis. In Italy the word godo means to enjoy sensual pleasure. The initial range was six 35g bars – later three 85g bars were added to the range. The bars proved extremely popular in outlets such as Planet Organic and Whole Foods where a sampling programme ensured a good rate of sales Elsewhere it was more difficult as the Go*Do brand did not translate easily to the UK. Finally in April 2017 it was decided to place more emphasis on Icam’s Vanini brand, and Go*Do was withdrawn from the market. During its six years in the UK Go*Do achieved a strong public profile, attracted many fans and won several awards.
