That first fateful contact…

First wrapper! August 1991

The launch of Maya Gold on March 9th 1994 brought together for the first time organic and Fairtrade – this was the first Fairtrade certified product to be launched in the UK.

Chic Choc chocolate festival, held in St. Christopher’s Place May 19 – 21 1994. I seem to have become a member of the Women’s Environmental Network for the day in order to promote Maya Gold. Nice jacket, made for me by Craig’s taylor Ron in Paddington and later given to Ronnie McGrail so he could look more like Brian Jones.
